With the Avenger Seawolf, Breitling has engineered a professional-grade diving watch that is water-resistant to 3,000 meters (10,000 ft/300 bars). The model succeeds in maintaining a comfortable, ergonomic size despite the structural demands of extreme pressure, thanks to case geometry perfected via numerical simulations. A safety valve is also included to automatically release helium at 3 bars of internal overpressure, protecting the case during extended deep-sea exposure.
