Breitling achieved a significant technical milestone with the Avenger Seawolf, a professional diver's timepiece capable of reaching depths of 3,000 meters (10,000 ft/300 bars). Despite the demands of such high pressure, the watch maintains excellent ergonomics and a manageable size through a case geometry optimized by numerical simulations. It also features a safety valve that automatically releases helium at 3 bars of internal pressure to prevent the case from rupturing during deep-sea saturation diving.
