Created in the 1950s for military and professional divers, the Superocean originally featured a monobloc case and tempered crystal rated for 660 feet (200 meters). Modern versions maintain this legacy with a 5,000-foot (1,500-meter) water-resistant steel case, a screw-locked crown, and a dual-glareproofed sapphire crystal.
