In early 2016, Glashütte Original launched the caliber 36, a movement built for precision and stability that reflects the brand's core values. Following the initial three-hand model, two advanced versions—a panorama-date and a moonphase with panorama-date—were released later that year. This 2018 addition features a brushed silver-grey dial, available with an alligator strap (pin buckle 1-36-04-03-02-02, folding clasp 1-36-04-03-02-31, or short folding clasp 1-36-04-03-02-51) or a stainless steel bracelet (1-36-04-03-02-70).
