Debuting in 2016 before being replaced by the SBGD201 in 2017, the Grand Seiko SBGD001 was the inaugural Grand Seiko model produced by the Micro Artist Studio. It combines a Zaratsu-polished platinum case with a 'Diamond Dust' white dial inspired by winter mornings in the Suwa region.
