The Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar ref. IW3755-09 features a case combining black ceramic and white gold, complemented by a silver dial. Debuting in 1985 with the reference 3570, IWC’s groundbreaking perpetual calendar module became an industry benchmark, eventually powering various IWC collections and JLC models, as well as the Grande Complication and Destriero Scafusia. The 39mm by 14.3mm 3750 model featured hinged lugs, multiple metal and dial options with various language markings, and a standard plexiglass crystal, though sapphire was optional. Starting in 1987, the ceramic 3755 was offered with a standard sapphire crystal, while gem-set versions used reference 8153, and bracelet options were available under references 9252 and 9253; the line was succeeded by the 3758 around 2005.
