IWC debuted its first ceramic wristwatch in 1986 with the Da Vinci ref. 3755, followed in 1994 by the cult-favorite Pilot's Chronograph ref. 3705. Featuring a 39mm zirconium oxide case, the watch includes contrasting stainless steel pushers and a crown, originally priced significantly higher than steel versions. Available variants include various language date discs and options for either a strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
