Launched in 2004, the IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire offered a premium iteration of the brand's classic pilot's chronograph, featuring an ornate dial with applied numerals, varied textures, and sword-style hands. While retaining the original movement, early models utilized the caliber 7922, later transitioning to the 79320, with options for black or silver dials, various date languages, and either leather or steel bands. Black dial variants range from references IW3706-11 through IW3706-20, differentiated by their specific language discs and choice of alligator leather or stainless steel bracelets.
