Debuting in 1993 as the predecessor to the 3713, the reference 3711 was IWC's initial pilot's watch to include a split-second chronograph complication, distinguished from later models by its domed crystal. It was produced in stainless steel, yellow gold, and platinum, with a wide array of dial, strap, and day-wheel language variations across references IW3711-01 through IW3711-28.
