Manufactured between 1996 and 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was the brand's second pilot's model to incorporate a split-second chronograph. It was offered in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum with various dial configurations and multilingual day discs. While stainless steel models came with straps or bracelets, five platinum pieces were also produced on bracelets, and post-2003 models featured Spitfire-style dials; reference IW3713-01 features a stainless steel case and black dial.
