Produced from roughly 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 represents the second IWC pilot's timepiece equipped with a split-second chronograph. This model was released in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum, featuring diverse dials and language-specific day wheels. Stainless steel versions included strap or bracelet options, and five platinum examples were produced on bracelets; from 2003, the 3713 was exclusively fitted with Spitfire-type dials, including reference IW3713-02 with a stainless steel case and black dial.
