The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713, produced from circa 1996 to 2005, was the second pilot's watch from IWC to include a split-second chronograph. It was available in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum with various dial and language options, with stainless steel models offered on straps or bracelets and five platinum pieces produced on bracelets. Since 2003, the 3713 has been exclusively available with Spitfire-style dials, such as the stainless steel and black dial reference IW3713-03.
