The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was manufactured from about 1996 to 2005 as the second pilot's watch from the brand to feature a split-second chronograph. It was offered in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum with multiple dial and day-disc language options, featuring strap or bracelet choices for steel models and five bracelet-equipped platinum pieces. Post-2003 models were exclusively fitted with Spitfire-style dials, such as the stainless steel and black dial reference IW3713-05.
