In production from roughly 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 served as the second IWC pilot's watch to integrate a split-second chronograph. It was produced in yellow gold, platinum, or stainless steel with various dial and multilingual day-disc options, with the stainless steel model available on a strap or bracelet and five platinum examples on bracelets. As of 2003, the 3713 was sold only with Spitfire-style dials; reference IW3713-10 features a yellow gold case and a white dial.
