Manufactured from about 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was the second IWC pilot's watch to feature a split-second chronograph. Offered in yellow gold, platinum, or stainless steel with diverse dial and multilingual day-disc configurations, the stainless steel version was sold on a strap or bracelet, while five platinum pieces were made with bracelets. Post-2003, the 3713 was offered only with Spitfire-style dials; reference IW3713-11 is designed with a yellow gold case and a white dial.
