The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713, made between approximately 1996 and 2005, was the second IWC pilot's model to feature a split-second chronograph. It was offered in yellow gold, stainless steel, or platinum with various dial and language options, eventually standardizing on Spitfire-style dials beginning in 2003. Reference IW3713-16 is crafted with a yellow gold case and a black dial.
