Manufactured between approximately 1996 and 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 marked the brand's second pilot model to feature a split-second chronograph. Offered in platinum, yellow gold, or stainless steel with diverse dial and multilingual day-disc options, the steel model came on a bracelet or strap, while only five platinum units were produced on a bracelet. Post-2003, the 3713 was limited to Spitfire-style dials; reference IW3713-18 features a stainless steel case paired with a black dial.
