Manufactured from circa 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was the second pilot's watch from IWC to include a split-second chronograph. It was produced in platinum, stainless steel, or yellow gold, with multiple dial options and day-discs in various languages. The steel model was available on a strap or bracelet, and five platinum pieces were bracelet-mounted; from 2003, only Spitfire-style dials were used. Reference IW3713-28 features a platinum case and a blue dial.
