Produced from approximately 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was the second pilot's watch from IWC to feature a split-second chronograph. It was available in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum, with various dials and multilingual day-discs. The steel version came on a strap or bracelet, and five platinum pieces were bracelet-fitted; from 2003, only Spitfire-style dials were produced. Reference IW3713-29 is a Japan-exclusive limited edition of 130 pieces, featuring a stainless steel case and a white dial with black sub-dials.
