Manufactured between approximately 1996 and 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 represents the brand's second pilot model featuring a split-seconds complication. Offered in platinum, yellow gold, or stainless steel with diverse dial and day-disc language options, the steel model came on either a bracelet or strap, while five platinum examples were produced on bracelets. From 2003, the line transitioned to Spitfire-style dials, and the Japanese-exclusive ref. IW3713-30 features a stainless steel case with a white dial and black sub-dials, limited to 130 pieces.
