The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713, manufactured from about 1996 through 2005, serves as the second pilot watch from IWC to incorporate a split-second chronograph. Available in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum, the watch featured various dials and language-specific day-discs, with the stainless steel model offered on a bracelet or strap and five platinum versions produced on bracelets. After 2003, the model line adopted Spitfire-style dials exclusively, such as the ref. IW3713-32, which showcases a stainless steel case and a black 'Spitfire' dial.
