Manufactured between approximately 1996 and 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 represents the brand's second pilot model to feature a split-second chronograph. Offered in stainless steel, platinum, or yellow gold with diverse dial and multilingual day-disc options, the steel model came on a strap or bracelet, while the platinum version saw five bracelet-equipped units produced. Post-2003, the 3713 was offered solely with Spitfire-style dials, such as the ref. IW3713-36 featuring a stainless steel case and black Spitfire dial.
