Produced from approximately 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was the second pilot model from IWC to include a split-second chronograph. It was available in yellow gold, stainless steel, or platinum, with various dial styles and multilingual day-discs; the steel version offered strap or bracelet options, while five platinum examples were produced on bracelets. From 2003, the 3713 was limited to Spitfire-style dials, such as the ref. IW3713-41, which pairs a stainless steel case with a silver Spitfire dial.
