Manufactured between approximately 1996 and 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 represents the brand's second pilot model equipped with a split-second chronograph. Offered in platinum, yellow gold, or stainless steel with diverse dial and day-disc language options, the steel model featured strap or bracelet choices, while five platinum examples were also bracelet-fitted. Starting in 2003, the 3713 transitioned to exclusively Spitfire-style dials, including the stainless steel ref. IW3713-42 with its silver 'Spitfire' face.
