The IWC Portugieser 3714 arrived in 1998 as a cost-effective counterpart to the 3712 split-seconds. It features a 40.9mm case and transitioned from the caliber 79240 to the 79350 in 2007. The IW3714-45 model is built with a stainless steel case and a silver dial accented by red-gold plated numerals.
