Introduced in 1998 as a more budget-friendly iteration of the 3712 split-seconds, the IWC Portugieser 3714 sports a 40.9mm case. It housed the 79240 self-winding calibre until 2007, after which it used the 79350. Reference IW3714-86 includes a red gold case and a silver dial encrusted with 266 diamonds.
