Launched in 2004, the 42.3mm IWC Portugieser 5001 contains an automatic movement featuring a power reserve at 3 o'clock, date at 6 o'clock, and small seconds at 9 o'clock. It transitioned from caliber 50010 to 51010 and 51011 over time. Reference IW5001-21 is a boutique-exclusive in Red Gold with a grey dial and champagne sub-dials, with 350 of the planned 500 units produced.
