Debuting in 2003, the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 5021 combined a 7-day automatic movement with Kurt Klaus’s perpetual calendar mechanism, originally designed for the 1985 Da Vinci. Housed in a 44.2mm case with sapphire crystals, it features a 'Double Moon' display for both hemispheres. The 5021-01, a rose gold model with a black dial, utilized the 50611 calibre (2003–2005), the 51612 (2006–2007), and the 51614 (2007–2008).
