Traditional, elegant styling defines the Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph, a nod to the watches that brought the brand success in the 20th century. Both stainless steel and rose gold cases are offered at 39 cm in diameter, enclosing the L688.2 calibre whose workings are visible through the transparent sapphire caseback. The silvered or black dial has eight rose hour markers and rose dauphine hands; it includes a date, small seconds at 9, a dragging 30-minute counter at 3, and a dragging 12-hour counter at 6. Steel versions are also available with a 41 mm case, and the watch is fitted with a brown or black alligator strap.
