Debuting in 2026 as part of Longines' HydroConquest line of contemporary dive watches for professional water resistance and everyday durability, the L3.779.4.90.6 follows the 2024 GMT's redesign of the dial layout and finishing. Its round stainless steel case includes a screw-in crown and a unidirectional rotating bezel with a blue ceramic insert, water-resistant to 30 bar, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides. The polished black lacquered dial, without Arabic numerals, uses applied indexes and silvered polished hands, plus a date display; the self-winding mechanical calibre L888, beating at 25,200 vph with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring, offers a 72-hour power reserve and drives central hours, minutes, seconds, and date, all on a Milanese mesh steel bracelet with a double security folding clasp and micro-adjustment.
