Arriving in 2026 as part of the HydroConquest range—Longines' contemporary dive watches for professional water resistance and everyday durability—the L3.779.4.98.6 follows the 2024 GMT's revisions to dial layout and finishing. With a round stainless steel case, screw-in crown, and unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic insert, it is water-resistant to 30 bar and features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides. The sunray-finished frosted blue dial, which omits Arabic numerals, has applied indexes, silvered polished hands, and a date; the self-winding mechanical calibre L888 (25,200 vph, monocrystalline silicon balance spring, ~72-hour power reserve) drives central hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and the watch comes on a steel bracelet with a double security folding clasp and micro-adjustment.
