Debuting in 2026 within the HydroConquest family—Longines' line of contemporary dive watches designed for professional water resistance and everyday durability—the L3.779.4.99.6 reflects the 2024 GMT's overhaul of the collection's dial layout and finishing. The round stainless steel case has a screw-in crown and a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert, water resistance rated to 30 bar, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating applied to both sides. The frosted blue sunray dial, without Arabic numerals, uses applied indexes, silvered polished hands, and a date; the self-winding mechanical L888 calibre with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring and 72-hour reserve (25,200 vph) drives hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and the watch is fitted with a Milanese mesh steel bracelet secured by a double security folding clasp with micro-adjustment.
