The Omega De Ville Prestige 42 mm 434.20.42.22.10.001 debuted in 2025 as part of the long-running De Ville Prestige collection, which has formed OMEGA’s classical dress-watch line since its introduction in 1994. The model combines traditional dial architecture with a contemporary Master Chronometer movement. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and is executed in stainless steel with 18K yellow gold elements. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective treatment on the inside, and offers water resistance to 3 bar. The watch is presented on a matching stainless steel and 18K yellow gold bracelet, continuing the bi-metal construction of the case. The domed dial is finished in a sun-brushed PVD green tone. Along the outer edge runs a railway minute track, while the applied hour markers alternate between Roman numerals and cabochon indexes. A defining feature of this reference is the circular date display, executed as a satin-finished ring. The date is indicated by a centrally mounted crescent-shaped hand in PVD yellow gold, pointing to silver Arabic numerals arranged around the dial. Powering the watch is the self-winding Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8936. The movement provides a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and meets METAS certification standards for precision, magnetic resistance, and overall performance. It can be viewed through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.
