Introduced in 2003 as a tribute to the late-1950s Railmaster, the Aqua Terra Railmaster ref. 2802.52.31 has a 41mm steel case and brown alligator strap. The 1957 original, a successor to a 1953 RAF watch and designed for those working near electric currents, featured a double antimagnetic case—outer Staybrite steel with polished bevelled bezel, solid enveloping lugs, reinforced crystal and screw-in back with O-ring gasket, plus an inner protective cap, casing ring, and 1mm soft-iron dial (standard 0.4mm) that shielded against over 900 Oersted versus 60 for conventional antimagnetic watches. The modern watch keeps a matt black dial with luminous Arabic numerals at the quarters, triangular markers and a central Railmaster inscription, plus facetted Dauphine hands with luminous inserts; it uses a domed, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on a polished steel bezel; inside, the original 1955 calibre 30SC T4 is replaced by the co-axial caliber 2403 (self-winding, COSC-certified, 44-hour power reserve, Geneva-wave and circular-grain decoration, gold-plated engravings), which reduces friction for better long-term accuracy; the Railmaster comes only in 41mm and 38mm, on a steel bracelet with safety clasp or brown/black leather straps with foldover clasp, and with screw-in crown and case back gives 150m water resistance, the case back having a sapphire crystal to display the movement.
