The Speedmaster 57 is a modern homage to Omega's first-generation Speedmasters, with straight lugs and an engraved tachymeter bezel, features also found on early versions of the iconic chronograph while later models use the swirling 'lyre' lugs and a separate-inlay bezel. Reference 331.50.42.51.08.001, introduced in 2019, pays tribute to Rory McIlroy and his course record of 61 at Royal Portrush when he was 16; based on the 331.50.42.51.02.001, it has a sun-brushed champagne dial in PVD yellow gold with a blackened outer zone and minute track transferred in yellow gold, a date window at 6 o'clock, a small-seconds counter at 9, and a 12-hour/60-minute chronograph recorder at 3. The brushed tachymeter bezel is mounted on a 41.50mm 18K yellow gold case with matching bracelet, powered by caliber 9301.
