AT 145.0063), introduced in 1994 to mark the 25th anniversary of the moon landing, is driven by Caliber 867, a hand-skeletonized Caliber 861/863 by Armin Strom—whose watchmaking began in 1967 with a focus on skeleton timepieces, cutting away unnecessary material and engraving the rest, reputedly earning a Guinness World Records entry (though not found in a 2009 copy), and whose company, Armin Strom AG, continues after his 2011 retirement with his signature style still visible. It is celebrated as the first Speedmaster Professional to adopt a more romantic, artistic identity—less tool, more art—turning a functional instrument into art, much like the Apollo XVII 40th Anniversary and BMW Art Cars, though it may not suit all tastes. Reference 3096.30.00 is a similar version on a platinum bracelet, and this limited edition is 50 units.
