The reference 311.30.42.30.01.004 is a regular production model inspired by the "Racing Dial" found on the Speedmaster Mark II and some Speedmaster Professionals, or, according to another story, by the rocket from the 1953 'Destination Moon' comic. Production numbers remain debated. Production reportedly stopped mid-2015, though it was still available through retailers in early 2016.
