The Speedmaster Professional Missions Apollo IX is one of a total of 23 watches from the Missions Collection introduced in 1997, commemorating the mission of March 3 to March 13, 1969 by James A. McDivitt, David R. Scott, and Russel L. Schweickart. Fifty suitcases plus 150 separate watches were made, i.e., 200 pieces.
