Before BaselWorld 2016, the Speedmaster Moonphase Chronograph Master Chronometer was introduced as a new model in the Speedmaster line, with a new in-house METAS-certified chronograph movement (base caliber 9300) featuring date and moonphase. It has a 44.25mm stainless steel case, ceramic tachymeter ring, and box-shaped sapphire crystal. The metalized mineral crystal moonphase disc displays fine detail, including a possible astronaut's footprint; ref. 304.30.44.52.01.001 has a black dial on alligator strap, while the same ref. is similar but on a steel bracelet.
