The Omega Speedmaster X-33 was launched in 1998 as a modern-day Moonwatch, now called the 'Mars Watch', featuring a high-tech titanium case and an analog/digital movement with a particular set of functions. A second generation with minor updates came in 2001. Reference 318.92.42.79.01.001 is a special version of ref. 3991.50.06, made for special order/military customers.
