Debuting in 1998 as a modern-day Moonwatch, now known as the 'Mars Watch', the Omega Speedmaster X-33 featured a high-tech titanium case and an analog/digital movement with a specific set of functions. The second generation, with several minor updates, arrived in 2001. Reference 3991.50.06 belongs to this second generation, recognizable by its matte bezel insert and distinct crown.
