Launched before BaselWorld 2015, the Oris Tycho Brahe Limited Edition (ref. 761 7691 4085) is powered by the newly developed caliber 761, derived from Sellita SW220. The rare pointer moon feature employs a central hand moving twice daily along a dedicated moonphase scale, claimed to be more precise than conventional moonphase mechanisms. The watch draws inspiration from astronomer Tycho Brahe, whose observations later inspired Sir Isaac Newton, and is limited to just 500 units.
