The Luminor 1950 PAM00856 belongs to Panerai's 2016 'Big Five' collaboration with Purdey, the luxury gun engraver also in the Richemont group. The partnership began in 2002 with a Sealand for Purdey based on the classic Luminor, while this model uses the Luminor 1950 case with a more curvaceous profile and the in-house P.9000 movement. The dial is hidden by an engraved lid depicting an African elephant, and the edition is limited to 80 units.
