Inspired by a painting from Philippe Stern’s private collection, this watch displays a traditional Lake Geneva barque over a line-engraved backdrop. The dial utilizes 30 to 40 colors of opaque, transparent, and opalescent enamel, incorporating 13 to 25 cm of 0.05 mm gold wire. Housed in a 38.6 mm white gold case, the ultra-thin self-winding caliber 240 is protected by a sapphire back and a hinged dust-cover marked for Patek Philippe’s 175th anniversary. Reference 5089G-001, limited to 40 pieces, does not include the anniversary box, deployant clasp, or coin.
