As a successor to the 1932 ref. 96 Calatrava, the Patek 5196 preserves the original's understated design, including its simple markers and dauphine hands. The watch is sized at 37mm and operates on the manually wound caliber 215 PS with small seconds. The 5196J-001 variant is presented in a yellow-gold case paired with a silver dial.
