The Patek Philippe 5170 launched at BaselWorld 2010 to replace the 5070, initially featuring a yellow gold case and a silver/champagne dial with two Roman numerals and six stick indices. Later G models replaced these with Breguet numerals. Driven by the CH 29-535 PS caliber, the watch shrinks the case from 42mm to 39mm, shifts the subdials below the 3-9 axis, and replaces the 5070's inner tachymeter with an outer pulsometer scale.
