Unveiled at the 2023 Patek Philippe Watch Art exhibition in Tokyo, the 5538G-016 is a five-piece limited edition featuring Grand Feu cloisonné enamel. It replicates a Japanese print of a tiger beneath a crescent moon, utilizing approximately 60 cm of gold wire cut into small hand-shaped segments. The enameler used 20 translucent and opalescent colors, firing each dial roughly 15 times at nearly 800°C. Only five units were produced.
