In 2018, the updated Rolex Datejust 31 was released in white, rose, or yellow gold, all driven by the caliber 2236 movement. Rolesor two-tone editions were introduced to the range the following year. Reference 278241 includes a stainless steel case with a domed rose gold bezel, available with several dial choices and either an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet.
