16600 Comex MK1Ref

Launched in 1988, the Sea-Dweller 16600 served as the more robust counterpart to the Submariner 16610 of that period. Its thicker case incorporates a helium escape valve and lacks the cyclops lens on the crystal. Replaced in 2008 by the Deepsea 116660, this particular unit was manufactured for the COMEX diving firm. It is from the 1992 batch, identifiable by the straight COMEX engraving on the caseback, distinct from the rounded engravings found on the 1997 delivery.
