16660 Comex MatteRef

As the first Sea-Dweller to feature sapphire glass, the 'Triple Six' 16660 was produced in two series—the first with matte dials and the second with gloss—until the 1988 introduction of the 16600. This example, produced for the Comex diving corporation, is part of the first series delivered between 1980 and 1984. It is believed that only approximately 50 units were produced with this specific matte dial.
